Sites

This page describes how to add new, share, select and delete sites. User rights and site states are explained in details as well.

Add New Site

To add a new site, click on the Wyolyzer menu in the Wyolyzer menu bar and at the bottom of the page click on the blank text field. Enter the corresponding domain name (e.g. wyoseo.com) into the box, and click on the Add Site button. The system starts analyzing the site. If it is ready, the site will be added. The new site appears in the site list as an invalidated site with owner rights.

Note: If the crawler is not able to analyze the homepage, it is not possible to add that site to the system. If that happens, please, contact with us for more details.

Note 2: In this step, only domain names are accepted. All directories and files will be removed. Check Introduction Help Page for more details.

Site Selection

To use Wyolyzer, click on the Wyolyzer menu in the Wyolyzer menu bar. Click on the domain name of the site to select. After that, a new sidebar will appear on the left side which helps navigating through the services. For navigation details, check the Navigation Help Page. If no sites are available, add a new one.

User Rights

WyoSEO defines user rights to each site to differentiate access roles. Currently the following rights are available:

  • Owner: The owner of the site is the user, who added the site. Only one owner account is linked to a site. Currently, it is not possible to change the owner, so try to select owner as careful as possible. Only the owner can order, cancel and change services for the site.
  • Administrator: Administrator has all the rights that the owner has, except the service ordering, modifying and canceling.
  • User: User has limited rights, it can only get analysis. Modification of crawler parameters and changing of keyword settings are not allowed to a user.

Sharing Sites

Sites could be shared between existing user accounts. Only the owner of the site is authorized to share the site. The owner can select the user right for each account. Because only one owner is allowed, administrator and user privileges could be granted.

To share the site, go to the Wyolyzer menu in the Wyolyzer menu bar, and then click on the Share action, which can be found next to the site domain. Fill out the E-mail Address text field with the e-mail address of the user wanted to share and select access type. Click on Add User button to share the account.

If the action was successful, the User List table will contain the new e-mail address with the granted right. If it is failed, the user account is not registered or the site is shared. If the user is not registered, WyoSEO will offer in a dialog box to send an invitation e-mail to the e-mail address entered.

Understanding Site States

WyoSEO defines 3 states for each site:

  • Invalidated: If a new site was added, it would have an invalidated state. This means that the owner did not prove that this site belongs to her/him. To validate the site, see the Validating Site section in Invalidated Site Help Page. Until the site is invalidated, just the quick analysis is available. If a site is in Invalidated state, no service can be ordered.
  • Validated: A site will be in validated state, if it is validated by its owner. Validation proves that the site is belonging to its owner. For validation process, see the Validating Site section in Invalidated Site Help Page. Validation is necessary to order WyoSEO services.
  • Ordered: This state indicates that SERP Tracker and/or Site Optimizer services are ordered. Ordered state will be indicated if at least one service is ordered. A service can be ordered only for a validated site. For ordering services, check Ordering Services Help Page.

Remove Site

A site can be removed from an account with the following restrictions:

  • Administrator or User can remove the site anytime.
  • Owner can remove the site only, if it is not in ordered state, which means that no service is ordered for that site. To cancel order, click on the site and click on the Services menu on the sidebar.

To remove a site click on the Wyolyzer menu in the Wyolyzer menu bar and click on the Del link in the action column.
