Designer has three sections:
Page Editor: Helps filling out most important tags in a page.
Crawler Settings: Page Crawler can be commanded to recrawl the page.
Keywords: List of keywords.
Page editor is a tool for SEO design. It contains four rows:
The first row is an information row that indicates PWSc value, the link to the page and the link to the page analysis. For page analysis see Page Analysis Help Page.
The second row can be used for planning. Planned Keywords contains the notes (keywords) set in Selector in Design view. The Edit button can be used to modify notes. With the Modify button Title, Description, Keywords and h1 tags can be planned. Click on the Modify button to enable planning. In the planning view 4 boxes will be available which can be used to put the planned text into them. Below each boxes the number of available characters and the estimated relevancy are indicated. To save the planned text, click on the Save button, and to discard, click on the Cancel button.
The third row contains the currently available values for Title, Description, Keywords, h1 (meta) tags and Alt parameters.
In the fourth row the % indicates the relevancy of Title, Description and Keywords (meta) tags, and the char indicates the length of the content of the (meta) tags. For h1 tags, No. indicates the number of h1 tags. For images the following notation is used:
- I: Number of images.
- A: Number of alt tags.
- E: Number of empty alt tags.
- L: Number of long alt tags.
Crawler Settings can be used to activate page crawler to recrawl the page. To enable page crawler, select the checkbox, and then click on the Recrawl button. Status will be refreshed continuously, but to show changes and/or recrawl again, refresh the page or click on the refresh link in the status window.
IMPORTANT: Page Crawler only updates the analysis, but does not update the site structure. It should be used only, if no change is initiated in the link structure. If links were modified, then structure update would be suggested. Use the Crawler button to navigate to the Crawler page. For more information about crawlers, check Crawling Help Page.
Keywords section lists the keywords of the page, which helps designing Title, Description and Keywords (meta) tags and checking the keywords of the selected page. The keywords tables show the 1, 2 and 3 word(s) long keywords. For more about keyword analysis, check the Keyword Analysis section in Reports Help Page.
