SERP Tracker

SERP (Search Engine Result Page) Tracker analyzes the result pages of major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) to find the position of the site for appropriate keywords. The results are stored in WyoSEO databases and data are presented immediately.

SERP Tracker checks keywords once a day and examines the first 100 positions (first 10 result pages).

To use SERP Tracker, log in or click on the Wyolyzer menu in the Wyolyzer menu bar, select a site and then click to the SERP menu on the sidebar. This navigates to the Overview submenu.  If the keyword list is empty, click on the Add New button to add new keywords. For more information about parameters see the Add New Keywords Help Page. If at least one keyword was added, the SERP Tracker table indicates the followings:

  • Keyword: Keyword tracked by Wyolyzer.
  • Green Link: Indicates the site/page that will be searched.
  • Google, Yahoo, Bing: The last results in Google, Yahoo and Bing. Notations:
    1. Numbers indicates the last position. If it is a dash, the site was not found in the first 100 positions.
    2. The orange dash indicates  no change since the last day. The red arrow indicates that the position is lower than yesterday. The green arrow indicates that the position is better than yesterday.
    3. The number in the parenthesis ‘()’ indicates the value of position changes. If no number can be shown, then the keyword is out of the first 100 positions. The * means that the keyword is under tracking or no results are available.
  • Tracking: The thick indicates that keyword is enabled. The X indicates that the tracking activity is stopped. To stop the tracking for a keyword or restart again, click on the thick or the X icon.
  • Last: Last tracking date.
  • Domain: The Google domain of tracking.
  • EM (Exact Match): If a particular page is set and exact match is enabled, then this value is Y. Otherwise, N.

The Results Per Page drop down menu can be used to select the number of keywords shown in the table. The following navigation options are available:

  • First: Go to the first page.
  • Previous: Go to the previous page.
  • Numbers: Go to the selected page number.
  • Next: Go to the next page.
  • Last: Go to the last page.

The PDF and CSV links can be used to generate PDF or CSV based analysis. This will be saved, and can be downloaded from the Report Archive menu.
